Job summary

BioMérieux Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and deliver cloud-native software for in vitro diagnostic solutions. You will implement microservices, IaC, CI/CD, and data governance across cross-functional teams.

You will work with data engineering, product management, and architecture to translate requirements into scalable solutions, ensure security, and drive continuous improvement through reviews and prototyping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with Java and modern web frameworks.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
• Proficiency in APIs, data processing, and security basics.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK/CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement multi-tier, distributed, event-driven systems using cloud-native patterns.
• Implement IaC solutions with AWS CloudFormation and containerized apps.
• Develop microservices on AWS ECS/EKS for scalable, secure systems.
• Build data pipelines using AWS Lambda and Glue, ensuring reliability.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal/external systems.
• Design data lakes and warehouses to support analytics and operations.
• Apply data governance, quality, lineage, and security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into designs.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, and prototyping.
• Evaluate new technologies and drive adoption aligned with business needs.
