Job summary

bioMérieux is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver cloud-native software for in vitro diagnostic solutions. You will work with data engineering, product management, and architecture to implement microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code while ensuring governance and security standards.

The role requires 7+ years of full-stack development (Java, Angular), strong AWS experience, and API/serverless expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of full-stack development experience with Java and modern web frameworks such as Angular.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS) and production systems.
• Solid grasp of security, compliance, and privacy fundamentals (least privilege, key management, network segmentation).
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs or serverless patterns.
• Proficiency with Terraform or AWS CDK/CloudFormation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with relational databases and advanced SQL.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to design and implementation of multi-tier, distributed systems using cloud-native services.
• Implements Infrastructure as Code solutions and automated deployment workflows.
• Designs and develops microservices-based applications leveraging AWS services.
• Creates data pipelines and storage solutions for analytics workloads.
• Develops RESTful APIs and integrates with internal and external systems.
• Participates in design reviews, code reviews, and pair programming.
