Qualifications

• Experience with bioinformatics pipelines and cloud-based genomic data analysis.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, R, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform or AWS CDK).

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain cloud infrastructure for genomic data analysis.
• Implement and optimize Python and Nextflow bioinformatics workflows.
• Integrate bioinformatics pipelines with LIMS and IT systems.
• Ensure IT security and privacy controls align with corporate policies.
• Apply software engineering best practices to pipelines for scalability and maintainability.
• Develop and manage databases and applications for QC and assay monitoring.
• Document and validate bioinformatics systems for regulatory compliance.
