Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Architect to provide technical leadership across multiple products and engineering teams within Managed Solutions Product Engineering. You will define architecture strategy, drive technology direction, and partner with Product, Engineering, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

In this role you will influence engineering standards, platform delivery, and long-term investments, guiding cross-functional initiatives and coaching

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with architecture and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field.
• Experience driving architecture and technical strategy across multiple products or teams.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and leading large cross-functional initiatives.
• Deep expertise in modern software engineering, cloud platforms, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture strategy across multiple products and platforms.
• Establish technical standards, governance, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to align technical direction with business objectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on architecture, software design, and technology adoption.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and influence technical decisions across the organization.
• Guide the design and delivery of scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions.
• Influence roadmap planning, platform evolution, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and operations to ensure successful outcomes.
• Support critical customer and stakeholder engagements as a senior technical leader.
