Job summary

Equinix seeks a deeply technical Area Tech Lead to own the end-to-end technical strategy and architecture for the Security Operating System—an enterprise platform powering security services, automation, and data-driven decisions. You will define the multi-year roadmap, align architecture across teams, and partner with engineering and business leaders to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in security/platform engineering or secure software development.
• Strong foundation in IAM, app security, data protection, cloud security.
• Experience delivering RESTful APIs and service-based architectures.
• Practical expertise with containers, orchestration, and infra abstractions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core security platform services with reliable interfaces.
• Translate security and product requirements into architecture and code.
• Own long-term technical roadmap for the Security OS area and drive milestones.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture, platform design, and escalations.
• Partner with executives to align technical direction with business outcomes.
• Oversee the delivery lifecycle: architecture, quality, deployment, operation.
