Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering with 8+ years in distributed systems.
• Experience designing/building large-scale cloud platforms or SaaS apps.
• Strong microservices, API design, event-driven systems knowledge.
• Proficiency in AWS/Azure/GCP and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience in Java/Go/Python or similar languages.
• DB tech (relational/NoSQL), data mgmt, eventual consistency.
• DevOps, CI/CD, IaC.
• Leadership of complex tech initiatives.
• Security/compliance in cloud design.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/CE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect a scalable cloud platform with 15+ microservices.
• Set architectural standards and best practices across services.
• Lead technical strategy for cloud platform evolution and deployment architectures.
• Mentor engineering teams with code reviews and guidance.
• Drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and security teams.
• Define monitoring, observability, and alerting for distributed systems.
• Lead investigations and resolution of complex production issues.
• Evaluate new technologies to enhance platform.
• Participate in architectural review boards and tech steering.
