Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Senior Cloud Native Platform Engineer to build, operate, and improve the cloud-native platform foundations that support AI apps and services at scale.

You will work on Kubernetes-based platforms, deployment patterns, observability, infrastructure automation, and operational tooling to enable internal teams to run on GPU-backed infrastructure with reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience operating Kubernetes-based platforms in production.
• Experience with infrastructure automation, CI/CD, configuration management, or GitOps.
• Understanding of reliability engineering: observability, incident response, and operational readiness.
• Experience writing production-grade automation, tooling, or backend code in Go, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Good Linux fundamentals and networking knowledge.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with adjacent teams.
• Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve shared cloud-native platform capabilities used by internal engineering teams to run AI applications and services.
• Own significant parts of the platform area, including Kubernetes cluster operations and deployment workflows.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and supportability of platform services through practical engineering and operational enhancements.
• Develop automation, tooling, and configuration to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
• Apply software engineering to create leverage, including scripts, CI/CD automation, and platform integrations.
• Improve incident prevention, detection, and recovery across the platform areas you support.
• Build and refine observability for platform services with metrics, logs, dashboards, alerts.
