Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer to enhance the Kubernetes experience on OCI. You will design, develop, and deliver cloud-native solutions enabling customers to deploy, manage, and scale applications on OCI.

You will own end-to-end work from definition to launch, collaborating with engineers across OCI on security, reliability, and operability of distributed systems while contributing to open-source projects in the CNCF ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, C#, Python or similar.
• Experience designing APIs, data models, and service architectures with scalability, availability, security, operability.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native systems including containers, orchestration, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or release engineering.
• Demonstrated ownership from problem definition through design, implementation, launch, and operation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative Kubernetes-related solutions for OCI.
• Contribute to Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management and infrastructure automation.
