Job summary

JPMorganChase's Consumer & Community Banking division seeks a Lead Software Engineer to design, build, and operate ATM channel software at scale. Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering, backend and prod ops
• Advanced Java expertise with Spring Boot and microservices
• Experience designing, securing, operating APIs with versioning
• Relational and NoSQL databases; schema design and performance
• Cloud-native systems using containers, orchestration, CI/CD, observability
• Secure coding and production readiness across services
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
• Structured problem solving and multi-priority delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade services supporting the ATM Channel Product
• Develop and maintain Java-based services with a focus on performance and reliability
• Design, build, and govern APIs (REST/event-driven) with versioning and lifecycle
• Build data solutions with relational/NoSQL databases and optimized schemas
• Implement cloud-native patterns including microservices, containers, orchestration, observability
• Drive engineering best practices across development, testing, deployment and production ops
• Provide hands-on guidance, troubleshooting, and technical leadership
• Ensure secure coding, test coverage, and maintainable architectures
• Collaborate with stakeholders for disciplined delivery and compliance
