Job summary

Citi in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Digital Software Engineer to join Enterprise Operations & Technology. You will design, build, test, and deploy complex financial applications, collaborating with onshore/offshore teams and stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable software.

The role emphasizes SDLC governance, automation, and high-quality client experiences, with strong focus on microservices, cloud, and CI/CD practices in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on cloud, microservices/API, and modern development tools.
• Experience with Java, HTML5/CSS3, AngularJS and mobile platforms is desirable.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to analyze user stories and translate them into implementable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support complex financial applications with a focus on performance and security.
• Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams and ensure adherence to standards and processes.
• Implement automated and manual tests and participate in SDLC governance.
• Provide accurate estimates and manage risks to meet deadlines.
