Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our AI Detection and Response (AIDR) Cloud team. You will architect and build next-generation services handling millions of AI security events per second and manage petabytes of AI data.

This hybrid role requires 2-3 days on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. You will design scalable microservices, drive testing and security standards, mentor teammates, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver reliable cloud-native

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for CJIS clearance (US citizenship or Green Card)
• 10+ years of software development experience in building Enterprise grade products
• 5+ years of experience in developing microservices that run in cloud native environments
• Strong computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, distributed systems)
• Expertise in at least one cloud native programming language: GO, Python, Java

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable microservices, frameworks and platform components
• Develop comprehensive tests focusing on reliability, accuracy and performance
• Conduct thorough code and design reviews with focus on testability, security, and scalability
• Integrate seamlessly with CrowdStrike ecosystem of services and API’s
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measures
• Mentor team members on secure coding practices, testing methodologies and cloud-native development
