Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to design, build, and evolve cloud and Kubernetes platforms that enable enterprise-scale application deployments. You will define patterns, standards, and governance across AWS, GCP, and internal Kubernetes platforms, partnering with DevOps, security, and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or related areas.
• 3+ years designing and supporting enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and microservices patterns.
• Experience designing platform architectures for large-scale deployments.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies and service-to-service communication.
• Hands-on with observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for deployment platforms across cloud and Kubernetes.
• Create scalable, repeatable deployment patterns and reference architectures.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native principles and platform engineering best practices.
• Establish standards, guidelines, and governance for consistency.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and align with business objectives.
• Design platform solutions across AWS and GCP with secure, scalable patterns.
• Define operational standards for multi-cluster Kubernetes environments.
• Lead automation andDevOps practices to improve release velocity and reliability.
• Mentor engineers on cloud-native technologies and design patterns.
