Qualifications

• Experience managing databases on containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience operating infrastructure services and databases in Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Proficiency in Python with APIs for AI-driven applications.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with security/compliance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for containerized applications.
• Experience contributing within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, infrastructure, security, and applications teams.

Responsibilities

• Leading the plan, design, and implementation of complex solutions and communicating technology across audiences.
• Coaching, mentoring, and directing team activities in line with defined practices.
• Providing technical direction for automation solutions to create resilient infrastructure.
• Ensuring software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements; end-to-end testing.
• Maintain awareness of development, testing, and database administration practices.
• Lead defect, incident, and change review meetings and release activities.
• Manage stability, resiliency, reliability, and performance of supported systems.
• Act as escalation point for team members and partner teams; mentor staff.
• Direct teams to establish alerts, monitoring, dashboards for new projects.
• Perform access reviews and compliance activities; manage administrative processes.
• Support change implementations and identify issues from changes.
• Design and implement robust patching strategies with automated solutions.
• Design, deploy, and maintain databases on Kubernetes/OpenShift containers.
• Implement architectures in hybrid cloud environments with security and performance.
• Maintain compliance with bank standards including IAM and Data protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient, production-ready infrastructure.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and best practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support iterative software delivery.
