SingleStore, Inc. is seeking a Staff or Principal Software Engineer to drive the architecture, reliability, and scaling of the Helios managed cloud. You will lead multi-cloud SaaS control planes, manage large Kubernetes deployments, and partner with AI Platform initiatives.

You will balance greenfield design with hands-on systems programming, spending 10-20% on Tier-3 escalations to root-cause production issues and inform durable platform architecture.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of distributed enterprise SaaS experience.
• Deep Kubernetes internals, CRDs, and custom controllers.
• Expert Go and Python with concurrent programming.
• Strong cloud networking knowledge and multi-cloud ops.
• Familiarity with AI pipelines and vector workloads.
• Proven ability to debug non-deterministic prod issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-team influence.

Responsabilités

• Architect distributed SaaS infrastructure with multi-tenant Kubernetes operators.
• Write resilient backend services in Go and Python.
• Lead cross-cloud networking design across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Support AI platform capabilities for real-time vector workloads.
• Dedicate 10-20% to Tier-3 production escalations and root-cause analysis.
• Ensure security/compliance by design (SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
• Draft ADRs/RFCs and mentor engineers while aligning roadmaps.
