Job summary

Fueled is a leading digital strategy, design, and engineering agency seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and operate scalable infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will drive automation, IaC, and production Kubernetes workloads in EKS/AKS, while tuning core services like NGINX, MariaDB, and Redis.

Qualifications

• Must have senior-level cloud infrastructure experience at scale or multi-tenant environments.
• Deep hands-on AWS and Azure; multi-cloud approach preferred.
• Proven IaC implementation with Terraform/Ansible/Helm/CDK in production.
• Strong Linux fundamentals and system hardening experience.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure end-to-end across AWS and Azure, including EKS/AKS workloads and autoscaling.
• Serve as Linux SME, configure and troubleshoot NGINX, MariaDB, Redis, and related services.
• Manage data tier with MariaDB/Galera, Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch; apply IaC-driven performance tuning.
• Build and tune CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps; write automation scripts.
• Own observability, security, and performance; participate in 24/7 on-call and incident response.
