Job summary

Astronautics Corporation of America is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, compliant cloud environments supporting engineering, manufacturing, and business operations at our Oak Creek headquarters. You will work across GCP, AWS and Azure with IaC tooling and policy controls.

You will lead the development of landing zones, automation, and runbooks, ensuring DISA STIG, CIS, and CMMC/NIST requirements are met while collaborating with cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/CE or related field with 10+ years in infrastructure, systems or cloud engineering.
• Expert-level experience with at least one cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure) and willingness to master others.
• Strong Terraform or OpenTofu experience, including module design and state management.
• Experience with Ansible and at least one Git-based CI/CD platform.
• Experience implementing security controls in regulated environments (CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-53, FedRAMP or DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate secure, compliant cloud environments for multiple business units.
• Develop reusable landing zones and IaC modules (Terraform/OpenTofu, Bicep/ARM, CloudFormation).
• Create CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and policy-as-code controls (OPA, Sentinel, Checkov).
• Harden OS and cloud platforms; maintain DISA STIG/CIS baselines.
• Produce compliance evidence and runbooks; support C3PAO assessments.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, identity, and endpoint teams on logging and access management.
• Translate business needs into clear cloud designs considering availability, performance, and data sensitivity.
