Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer for the Strategic Customer Engineering team in the United States. You will design and execute scalable cloud infrastructure solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact customer experiences and scalable systems.

You will lead end-to-end projects, work with compute, networking, and storage teams, and communicate complex technical details clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 8+ years distributed cloud engineering experience in software development.
• Experience with Java/C++/C# and scripting for automation.
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes and orchestration.
• Strong Linux skills across major distros and admin tasks.
• Experience with other cloud platform teams and networking/storage/identity.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership.
• Lead initiatives across engineering, operations, and leadership with minimal supervision.
