Optum Technology is seeking a senior Infra/DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure with IaC using Terraform. You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), implement security best practices, and mentor engineers across platform and security teams.

The role emphasizes automation, cost optimization, and high availability for Epic EHR workloads, with telecommute options across the U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• 2+ years of experience building and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• 2+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with cloud networking, security protocols, and IAM.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and performance issues in enterprise environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Author and maintain IaC using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Build and enhance automation for provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
• Support the deployment, operations, and performance of Epic EHR workloads hosted on Azure infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Implement cloud infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for reliability and incident response.
• Apply security and compliance best practices across cloud environments, including IAM, networking, and secrets management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, and performance issues across multi-tier environments.
• Collaborate with security, platform, and engineering teams to design and deliver reliable, cloud-native solutions.
• Drive cloud cost optimization, capacity planning, and mentor junior engineers on standards.
