Intel's Sort Test Technology Development (STTD) team is seeking a Senior Software & Infrastructure Engineer to architect, build, and maintain cloud-native applications and distributed systems that power semiconductor manufacturing and testing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer /Electrical Engineering or in a related STEM field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development (e.g., C#/.NET, Java, C++, Go, Python) including designing, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and debug cloud-native applications, platform services, and automation tools that support STTD operations.
• Build and maintain distributed systems including APIs, microservices, data services, and job orchestration platforms with focus on reliability and performance.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including servers, VMs, and Kubernetes (k8s) clusters.
• Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines and automation for build, deployment, configuration management, and infrastructure provisioning using infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Provide operational support through monitoring, logging, incident response, root-cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements.
