Job summary

Sonos is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to design cloud and on-premise infrastructure, creating reusable blueprints and driving the Infrastructure as Code strategy across teams. You will partner with network, security, and product groups to align architecture with business needs and ensure resiliency.

You will mentor the Global Operations team, lead incident management support, and push automation with AWS, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC tooling in a dynamic hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with data center, cloud, web, and data service technologies.
• Experience in a DevOps or software engineering role, with proficiency in AWS.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Puppet, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows administration and Akamai.
• Strong communication skills and office flexibility (3 days on-site).

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design of cloud and on-premise infrastructure, producing reusable blueprints across teams.
• Define and drive the IaC strategy for the IT organization, establishing standards for tooling.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and stakeholders to align architecture with requirements.
• Define SOPs for installs, ensure resiliency, and readiness for service transition.
• Automate and improve development and release processes with QA teams.
• Identify and evaluate tech innovations, including AI tooling and platforms.
• Act as escalation point and mentor for operations teams on incident management and performance tuning.
