Job summary

Sonos, Inc. is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to design cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, creating reusable blueprints used across teams. You will drive the IaC strategy and partner with Network Engineering to ensure architectures meet business needs.

The role also covers SOPs, automation, and mentoring operations teams. You will lead architectural guidance for production issues, evaluate new technologies, and collaborate with product, security, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Hands-on with data center, cloud, web, and data services technologies.
• Experience in a DevOps or software engineering role, with AWS expertise.
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Linux and Windows administration; Akamai familiarity.
• Strong communication to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of cloud and on-prem infrastructure, producing reusable blueprints as standard.
• Define and drive IaC strategy across the IT org.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering and stakeholders to align architecture with business needs.
• Define SOPs for software/hardware installation and service transition readiness.
• Automate and improve development and release processes with QE team.
• Identify technology innovations and assess feasibility/value.
• Act as escalation point and SME for operations teams.
• Mentor Global Operations in incident/change/release management.
