Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Kubernetes, and GCP. The role demands hands-on expertise and leadership to drive reliable platform improvements.

Hybrid work model with three days onsite per week in Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA. Candidates should have 7-9 years of IT experience, strong IaC, and containerization skills to support multi-cloud projects.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of overall IT experience with a strong cloud infrastructure background.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes administration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Good hands-on experience with GCP.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and networking knowledge.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell preferred.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments and cloud migration projects.
