U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will automate using Terraform and other IaC tools, write Python scripts for platform operations, and enforce governance with Checkov.

You will also develop CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with security, engineering, and platform teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Proficiency with Terraform for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Python scripting for cloud operations and automation.
• Experience with additional IaC tools (Ansible, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Bicep, ARM, Chef, or Puppet).
• Experience implementing Checkov, Policy-as-Code, governance controls, and compliance automation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Well-Architected framework, security best practices, and observability (Datadog preferred).
