Job summary

Quevera in Maryland is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure & Cybersecurity Engineer with active Secret clearance to support a high-impact DoD program. This role focuses on secure cloud architecture, hybrid models, and compliance.

You will work with cross-functional teams to design secure solutions, implement IAM and encryption, and help migrate applications while feeding acquisition documents and briefings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent; one additional year of experience may substitute for a degree).
• IAM Level III certification required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience with 5+ years in CS or related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in secure cloud infrastructure, hybrid models, and platform services.
• Design and assess cloud solutions per SCCA standards (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Develop technical requirements, build service catalogs, contribute to XaaS specs.
• Support acquisition documents, white papers, and executive briefings.
• Ensure cloud security and compliance with IAM, encryption, network/data protection.
• Conduct vulnerability monitoring, security assessments, and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate infrastructure and document designs/best practices.
• Support application migration and provide infrastructure expertise for decision making.
