Quevera is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer II in the Herndon, VA area to design and build scalable cloud infrastructure and microservices. You will work across full-stack development with TS/JS and Python, implement serverless patterns, and drive best practices across distributed systems.

The role emphasizes AWS CDK IaC, data pipelines, and leadership in technical initiatives. Eligible candidates may require TS/SCI Poly eligibility and a willingness to work on-site in the DC metro area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with cloud-first development.
• 5+ years of Python development in FastAPI/Flask/Django.
• 3+ years with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK and IaC.
• Architect and develop robust microservices architectures for scalability and performance.
• Build and optimize data engineering pipelines for large-scale analytics.
• Lead full-stack development with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Implement serverless and event-driven cloud-native solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence via code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Resolve complex distributed systems challenges with innovative approaches.
