Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior Principal Engineering/Architect to lead cloud and data infrastructure initiatives in a primarily remote role with occasional on-site support in Dallas and travel up to 25%.

The role focuses on diagnosing and resolving complex Linux, virtualization, networking, containers, and cloud infrastructure issues across global deployments. Must have active secret clearance or ability to obtain one and 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 10+ years of infrastructure engineering/support and systems administration experience.
• Experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, NSX.
• Proficient Linux systems administration (Redhat, Ubuntu).
• Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical bridge between federal operations and internal engineering.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across Linux, virtualization, networking, containers and cloud infra.
• Provide hands-on engineering and support for remote customer environments.
