Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Cloud Engineer Principal to lead cloud design, deployment, and ongoing optimization across a multi-tenant environment. You will work remotely, contributing to large-scale migrations, automation, and operations while ensuring system reliability.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud engineering, proficiency across AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI, and strong Linux/Windows Server skills. Excellent communication and a background check for Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and operations
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI
• Strong Linux/Windows Server knowledge

Responsibilities

• Designs, architects, deploys and maintains cloud solutions
• Maintains the integrity and security of systems
• Maintains all documentation
• Supports and develops automation
• Develop in Bash, PowerShell, Python
• Keeps knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI up to date
• Collaborates with teams to design solutions and advise implementation
• Handles escalations and provides solutions
• Writes standard operating procedures and knowledge articles
