Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Hazelwood, MO seeks a Senior Engineering Manager – Cloud Engineering to lead the Cloud Infrastructure team within the Digital Infrastructure Segment. You will partner with DevSecOps, Site Reliability, Product Security, Cybersecurity, and IT to deploy and scale cloud services.

You will drive Infrastructure as Code, oversee resource acquisition, and mentor engineers while aligning with business goals. Travel up to 10% may be required, and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, Chemistry or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a matrix plus assigned organization executing the mission of building secure cloud environment and deployment of complex COTS applications.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code, vendor and license management, environment standardization and performance tuning.
• Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities.
• Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies.
• Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
• Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manage, develop and motivate employees.
