Job summary

Apium Swarm Robotics seeks a Senior Cloud Application Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud-based applications for swarm simulation, delivery, and integration platform. This senior IC role emphasizes AWS-first architecture, multi-tenant isolation, and secure, scalable cloud services.

You will connect ASR cloud to CI/CD pipelines, enable rolling latest builds or pinned releases, and drive technical standards for cloud software across the org.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional cloud or platform engineering experience, withAWS focus.
• Experience running multi-tenant cloud environments with strong security and least-privilege practices.
• Proven ability to own end-to-end cloud application delivery including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Experience integrating cloud environments with CI/CD pipelines and artifact management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure that runs the Apium Swarm Simulator for training, validation, ops, and customer modeling.
• Integrate cloud with CI/CD pipelines so latest artifacts are accessible in the simulator, supporting rolling latest builds and pinned releases.
• Deploy the simulator across AWS compute (EC2, ECS, EKS, Fargate, ECR) in a multi-tenant, firewalled setup with data isolation.
• Implement authentication and authorization using AWS-native services (Cognito, IAM) with least-privilege.
• Design customizable, permissioned log/telemetry access for partners during development.
• Collaborate with partners to integrate against ASR’s virtual API for test integration.
