Job summary

SHR Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Cloud Application Developer to design, develop, and support secure, scalable cloud-native applications within FEMA NFIP PIVOT. You will lead cross-functional teams across modern cloud environments, focusing on API-driven backend services and containerized deployments.

The role requires 7+ years in software engineering or cloud development, with strong Java/Spring Boot expertise and experience in RESTful architectures, CI/CD, and cloud platforms like GCP.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering or cloud development experience.
• Expertise designing and delivering cloud-native applications and services.
• Strong background with Java/Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex cloud-native apps and microservices.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful architectures.
• Containerize apps with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift; modernize legacy apps.
