Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems seeks a Senior Cloud Developer to re-architect legacy apps into AWS-native solutions, build APIs and AWS Lambda functions, and mentor a small team. You will own Python production systems and drive cloud infrastructure via Terraform/CDK within an on-site role in Winston-Salem, NC or Radnor, PA.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Python production experience, 4+ years AWS development, and strong IaC skills. A bachelor’s in a tech field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of production Python development experience.
• At least 4 years of AWS cloud development experience.
• 3+ years supporting AWS environments in test and production.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and support Python applications in production.
• Develop, deploy, and manage Terraform/CDK to provision cloud resources.
• Modernize legacy Oracle forms/databases and build APIs.
• Lead and mentor junior developers within a 6-8 person team.
