Job summary

Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineer to build cloud-based modules and services for application teams, ensuring scalable, secure deployments. You will participate in peer reviews and implement robust testing while driving best practices in cloud design and DevOps.

A strong emphasis on monitoring, incident response and production readiness is essential. The role involves Agile participation, collaboration with technology partners, and a hybrid/remote work schedule

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
60 months of progressive post-Bachelor’s experience in related occupation.
Cloud provider experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; IaC tools like Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation; CI/CD and DevOps tools; programming/scripting languages; compute/container services (VMs, Docker, Kubernetes); troubleshooting in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Build cloud-based solutions for deployment, management, configuration, scale and supervision of applications.
Peer review of code and cloud design to ensure quality and best practices.
Use robust testing procedures to ensure high quality code.
Participate in Agile ceremonies to influence best practices for software delivery and infrastructure provisioning.
Monitor systems and respond to incidents, triage and remediation.
Contribute to production readiness through new patterns and solutions and collaborate with technology partners.
