Job summary

Aikido is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to own and operate the cloud infrastructure behind our US Public sector cloud, with a focus on AWS GovCloud in support of FedRAMP. You will maintain Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security, and handle day-to-day deployments, updates, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure to support the FedRAMP environment
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability and security
• Manage day-to-day cloud operations: deployments, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, troubleshooting
• Lead last-mile implementation work to adapt the regulated version of the platform
• Collaborate with cloud architecture and leadership to stay aligned with government constraints
• Respond to infrastructure and customer support needs in the U.S. regulated environment
• Ensure operational readiness, resilience, and compliance as the FedRAMP footprint scales

Job description

• As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Aikido, you’ll own and operate the cloud infrastructure behind our US Public sector cloud environment
• You’ll play a critical role in supporting our AWS GovCloud infrastructure, helping translate changes from the broader platform into a regulated environment, and servicing as a key technical operator on the front lines of our infrastructure
• Own and operate Aikido’s AWS GovCloud infrastructure in support of our FedRAMP environment
• Maintain and improve Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure for reliability, performance, and security
• Handle day-to-day cloud operations: deployments, updates, configuration changes, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Support last-mile implementation work required to adapt and maintain a regulated version of Aikido’s broader platform
• Partner closely with leadership and Aikido cloud architecture to keep environments aligned while meeting government-specific constraints
• Respond to infrastructure and customer support needs that require hands-on access inside the U.S. regulated environment
• Help ensure operational readiness, resilience, and compliance as ASD scales its federal footprint

• Background in security-focused infrastructure or cloud architecture
