Job summary

Accenture Federal Services seeks a Cloud Engineer in El Segundo, CA, to join our secure Gov Cloud platform team. You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and platform services for government clients, with automation and security at the core.

You’ll bring 5+ years of cloud engineering across AWS/Azure, IaC, DevOps, and container tech, plus knowledge of STIG and security controls. This role thrives in a mission-driven, agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or 4 years equivalent work/military service.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering and infrastructure, with AWS, Azure, or multi-cloud experience.
• 3+ years implementing secure cloud architectures for enterprise or government environments.
• 3+ years troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
• CompTIA Security+ or DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification; AWS certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures across platforms.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code for repeatable deployments.
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for rapid delivery.
• Configure cloud security controls and compliance measures.
• Design disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and optimize performance.
