Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
• 1+ years of software development engineer experience
• 1+ years designing and developing large-scale distributed software
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• Experience programming with at least one software language

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain distributed systems powering AWS Lambda's event-driven architecture
• Build and improve scalable, multi-tenant platforms processing billions of events daily
• Write clean, well-tested code with ownership from design through deployment and production operations
• Drive features end-to-end with cross-team collaboration and multi-region rollout
• Identify and solve ambiguous problems, evaluate tradeoffs, and make sound technical decisions
• Participate in on-call rotations, lead operational reviews, raise production reliability
• Contribute to system design, mentor junior engineers, and influence team best practices
• Work across full lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring
