Job summary

SDG is seeking a Cloud Engineer with DevOps experience to design, build, and operate cloud environments supporting modern enterprise web applications. You’ll work with cross-functional teams and customers to enable scalable, reliable deployments and development velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience designing and operating cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP required).
• Experience building and operating serverless application workloads (AWS Lambda or equivalent).
• Experience supporting application development teams through automation and platform tooling.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity and code quality.
• Proficiency with scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Experience delivering solutions in large-scale or enterprise environments and CI/CD best practices.
• Degree or certification in CS, IT, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate cloud environments to support modern enterprise web applications.
• Partner with customers and delivery teams to ensure successful deployments and operations.
• Implement containerized workloads, CI/CD pipelines, automation tooling, and serverless components.
• Collaborate across teams to drive craftsmanship, collaboration, and continuous learning.
