Job summary

Marathon Petroleum's Findlay, OH-based Cloud Enablement team is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to design and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on IaC using Terraform and Azure.

You will drive automation, security, and cost optimization across on-premises and cloud environments, delivering reusable patterns and reference architectures that accelerate adoption of cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 2+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Azure preferred.
• IaC with Terraform required; CI/CD and DevOps experience preferred.
• Hands-on with containers and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Designs and manages Azure PaaS and cloud infrastructure.
• Develops IaC using Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Enables containerization with Docker and AKS for HA workloads.
• Provides patterns, templates, and architectures to accelerate adoption.
• Supports cloud development lifecycle and incident troubleshooting.
