Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our client in Chicago. You will design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based platforms supporting large-scale payment and transaction systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to build highly available, secure, and scalable solutions on AWS, contributing to a company-wide cloud transformation. In this role you will help shape cloud infrastructure in a highly regulated environment, support

Qualifications

7+ years in Cloud/Infrastructure/DevOps roles.
3+ years building and supporting AWS environments.
Experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, and EKS.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
Experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.

Responsibilities

Lead design, deployment, and optimization of cloud-based platforms for large-scale systems.
