Job summary

A healthcare innovation firm located in Boca Raton is seeking a Staff Cloud Engineer to lead the AWS cloud infrastructure efforts. You will be responsible for defining best practices and ensuring the scalability and reliability of systems related to data streaming, database architecture, and AWS application development. This role requires strong collaboration and mentorship within the team, along with hands-on experience in cloud technologies. The position is hybrid, requiring presence in the Boca Raton office three days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Cloud Engineering or a similar role.
• Deep proficiency in managing AWS services.
• Demonstrated mastery in Distributed Streaming, Databases, or AWS application development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
• Implement monitoring solutions to identify issues proactively.
• Mentor junior team members and develop reusable infrastructure as code (IaC) modules.
