Qualifications

• BS degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
• 8+ years with cloud platforms, with deep AWS expertise.
• 8+ years with Git SCM providers (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• 8+ years with systems development in an Agile environment.
• 8+ years with infrastructure as code and orchestration.
• 8+ years with DevSecOps tooling and orchestration.
• 3+ years in database architecture, ETL, BI, big data, ML, analytics.
• Must possess an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate/Professional/Specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the customer.
• Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems.
• Understand stakeholder needs and convey to developers.
• Automate and improve configuration, provisioning, deployment, and release processes.
• Test and examine code written by others and analyze results.
• Ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and develop fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps engineers to ensure processes are followed.
• Support enterprise cloud apps or infrastructure through IaC and large-scale deployments.
• Ensure efficient data storage and processing in line with security policies.
• Document as-is state, perform gap analysis, and articulate options and recommendations.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and deployment issues.
• Mentor junior team members and drive continuous improvement.
• Present status updates and provide cross-training to team members.
