Job summary

Steampunk seeks an AWS Cloud Architect to design and deliver cloud solutions in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of total professional experience
• 8+ years of hands-on AWS cloud architect experience and related cloud development work

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement optimal AWS-based solutions for customers
• Design AWS cloud environments with guardrails and standards for production
• Architect multi-account AWS environments using Control Tower and Landing Zones
• Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions
• Automate and improve development, testing, deployment, and release processes using IaC and CI/CD tools
• Partner with developers and engineers to ensure processes are followed
• Support enterprise cloud apps and infrastructure through infrastructure as code
• Document as-is state and perform gap analyses
