Job summary

Populous is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure. You will work across time zones, implement secure networks, and maintain IaC pipelines.

The role requires strong scripting and collaboration skills to support multi-cloud migrations and performance optimization. You will join a forward-thinking IT team delivering reliable, secure cloud services with modern tooling and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven hands-on experience with cloud networking concepts (VPC, VNets, subnets, routing).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Designing, deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments.
• Architecting and implementing secure network solutions including VPCs/VNets and connectivity.
• Maintaining and extending Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines and security controls.
• Monitoring performance, availability and security across multi-cloud environments.
• Supporting cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud architecture.
• Troubleshooting cloud, network and firewall-related issues.
