Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to support the Defense Enclave Services (DES) O&M program. You will design, implement, and sustain enterprise cloud solutions across AWS/Azure, automate infrastructure, and lead Tier 3 issue resolution in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities include building secure cloud foundations, migrating workloads, enforcing security controls, and guiding junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
Hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions in AWS and/or Azure environments.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation.
Experience implementing automation solutions using Ansible, PowerShell, Azure Functions, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud-based infrastructure solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
Deploy and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using automation and orchestration tools.
Support cloud modernization, including migration of on-premises services to cloud.
Troubleshoot Tier 3 cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, and applications.
Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, and architecture teams to align with standards.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.
Enforce cloud security and compliance with DoD/Federal frameworks.
Develop technical documentation and support continuous service improvement.
