Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our hybrid team in the United States. You will lead complex cloud infrastructure initiatives, drive automation, and design scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

This role emphasizes security, cost management, and cross-team collaboration. With 8+ years in cloud engineering, you will mentor engineers, contribute to design artifacts, and ensure compliant, high-availability cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Cloud Engineer with responsibility for complex cloud infra issues.
• Automation and scripting for routine deployment, configuration, and operations.
• Create and maintain design/architecture artifacts with consistent standards.
• Secure cloud environments following least privilege and zero-trust principles.
• Manage access control, data integrity, and RBAC in cloud data centers.
• Monitor cloud costs and implement FinOps practices for cost visibility.
• Develop and enforce architecture, deployment, monitoring, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Enhance automation and scripting for routine deployment and configuration tasks.
• Create and maintain architectural diagrams, workflows, and procedures.
• Monitor and enforce least privilege and zero-trust security in cloud environments.
• Track system performance and ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers; promote knowledge sharing.
