Job summary

Zebra is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to advance automation, security, and cost visibility across multi-cloud environments. You will partner with IT and product teams to implement scalable cloud solutions, automate deployment, and ensure robust access controls and governance.

The role requires deep cloud expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP) and a proactive, collaborative mindset in a hybrid work setting in Lincolnshire, IL or Holtsville, NY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years of experience; equivalency considered.
• Proficiency with Python, Jenkins, Terraform or similar for automation/CI/CD.
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Enhance automation and scripting to automate deployment/configuration tasks.
• Monitor and secure cloud environments following least privilege and zero trust.
• Track cloud costs and apply FinOps for cost visibility and optimization.
• Provide non-routine technical support for cloud-based operations.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot server hardware, software, and systems.
• Collaborate on access control and data integrity in the data center.
• Monitor and record system performance and utilization metrics.
• Develop IT/infrastructure projects for on/off premise and IaaS.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and outsourcing teams.
• Work with teams on company-wide cloud technology solutions.
