Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer in the United States to lead automation, security, and cost management across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. The role requires a self-starter who collaborates with IT and product teams and can respond to escalations as needed.

You will automate deployments, enforce least privilege and zero trust, monitor costs, and support data center and cloud environments. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5+ years of cloud experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Equivalency: 3+ years considered with Zebra ITDP program.
• Python, Jenkins, Terraform or similar for automation and CI/CD.
• Cloud experience including AWS, Azure and/or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the automation and scripting efforts of the cloud team to identify and automate routine deployment, configuration, and other operational work.
• Monitor and facilitate a secure cloud environment with least privilege and zero trust, ensuring proper security and access controls.
• Monitor cloud costs across all environments and implement FinOps practices for cost visibility and optimization.
• Provide non-routine technical support for cloud-based IT/data center operations.
• Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting server hardware, software and data center resources.
• Maintain data integrity and access controls for cloud environments.
• Track and record system performance and utilization metrics.
• Develop IT infrastructure projects supporting on-/off-premise and IaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with Professional Services and outsourcing teams on client projects.
• Work with teams on company-wide web/cloud technology solutions.
