Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an engineer to join the Falcon Exposure Management team to design and build a new product from the ground up, applying AI in production. You will shape its architecture, work on large-scale data, and deliver agentic capabilities that reason over real data.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of production experience, strong Go/Python/Java skills, and hands-on experience with AI tooling and LLM-backed systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production experience building and maintaining systems at scale.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with distributed systems experience (concurrency, partitioning, backpressure, failure handling).
• Experience shipping LLM-backed systems to production; ownership of reliability, cost, and correctness.
• Experience with agentic loops and agents that invoke tools on real data.
• Approach to non-determinism: structured outputs, schema validation, retries, self-checks, graceful fallbacks.
• Strong engineering judgment to simplify complex problems.
• Hands-on with frontier-model SDKs (Anthropic, OpenAI) and AI tools.
• Experience using AI to improve decision-making and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a new product from the ground up; establish architecture and tech decisions.
• Build distributed systems foundation: high throughput, large-scale data processing, reliability.
• Develop agentic capabilities with reasoning over real data and explainable results.
• Move AI from prototype to production; own latency, cost, correctness, evaluation.
• Design guardrails/policies for safe autonomous reasoning.
• Turn open-ended problems into scoped increments.
• Set early standards for quality, testing, observability; mentor engineers.
