Dexian seeks a Sr. Cloud Engineer in Westlake, TX to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications on AWS. You will work with EKS/Kubernetes and Docker, and code in Golang or Python to deliver secure backend services and APIs.

You will partner with engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, and observability while leveraging serverless and messaging services. This role is a key part of our Talent + Technology delivery ecosystem.

Competenze

• Strong software development background required.
• Proficiency in Golang and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS, EKS/Kubernetes is essential.

Job Description

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience across AWS cloud services, cloud-native technologies, and AWS EKS/Kubernetes. Candidates must come from a strong software development background, with proficiency in Golang (preferred) or Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications using AWS services.
• Leverage AWS compute, storage, networking, database, messaging, and serverless services to build cloud-based solutions.
• Work with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and Docker to support and troubleshoot containerized applications.
• Strong programming and software development experience in Golang (preferred) or Python, including developing and maintaining backend services, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Implement application integrations using AWS messaging, event-driven, and API management services.
• Troubleshoot application and cloud service issues and optimize application performance and reliability.
• Implement cloud monitoring, logging, security, and observability practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions.
