Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA seeks an Engagement Manager to lead delivery of complex cloud solution projects, blending technical leadership with strong program management to drive customer outcomes.

You will apply AWS Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework, translate business needs into technical requirements, manage risks, and mentor teams to successful project delivery. This role requires US citizenship and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related science/technical fields
• Experience in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Experience with the project management of technical projects
• Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
• Guiding technical decisions and strategic planning using AWS services and best practices
• Bridging business requirements with technical solutions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes
• Distilling customer needs into technical requirements and mapping to business outcomes
