Job summary

CACI seeks a Network/Cloud Engineer to assess cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), maturity of DevSecOps pipelines, and security controls for FEMA ITSA 3.0. You will review IaC, containerization, and service mesh patterns to guide modernization with speed, security, and reliability.

The role emphasizes cloud hosting platforms, automation, and alignment with FedRAMP and DHS cloud policies, delivering actionable upgrade paths and risk-based recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of infrastructure, cloud, and security engineering experience across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Hands-on experience architecting solutions on AWS and/or Azure with core services (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps workflows, and automated deployments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and security control implementations.
• Ability to obtain DHS EOD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate cloud hosting architectures across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments for HA and DR.
• Assess CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and security integration within DevSecOps.
• Review IaC adoption and configuration management with automated provisioning.
• Assess IAM, MFA, PAM, and secrets management; ensure RMF/NIST alignment.
• Provide practical modernization recommendations for cloud migration and automation.
